Assange, is of course, the creator of WikiLeaks. Which, is not just how we know about a lot of shitty stuff the U.S. has done, such as: gunning down Iraqi civilians for sport. But, it’s also how we knew anything about the top secret Trans-Pacific Partnership, before it was recently released.
WikiLeaks performs a valuable service for this country. Because - and a lot of people don’t realize this - the government of our country is supposed to be accountable to us, to you and to me! They’re not allowed to just ruin our lives behind a curtain and then peak out every once in a while and go:
“This is uh, not for you to see. I’m taking away your Social Security and ruining your education system, and I don’t want you to see this. It’s pretty gross back here.”
